🗣️ 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕: Learn Basic Spanish for the Rotary International Convention

With the 2027 Rotary International Convention set to take place in Barcelona, Spain, from June 26 to 30, 2027, the Rotary E-Club of All Star CAMANAVA (RECASC) is offering Rotarians and their spouses an opportunity to prepare for this international gathering through a Free Basic Spanish Class.

In collaboration with the MGGT Language Tutorial Center, RECASC is launching this special language program to help participants develop basic Spanish communication skills and feel more confident when interacting during their visit to Barcelona.

Learn Spanish for Your Barcelona Experience

The goal of the program is simple: to equip Rotarians with basic Spanish language skills so they can communicate more confidently during the 2027 Rotary International Convention and their stay in Barcelona.

While English is widely used in international settings, Spanish is widely spoken in Barcelona alongside Catalan. Learning basic greetings, expressions, questions, and everyday conversational phrases can help participants communicate more comfortably with locals and make their experience in the host city more meaningful.

Beyond the Convention, learning Spanish can provide benefits that extend into everyday life. Language skills can help build connections, open opportunities, and strengthen communication in both career and social settings. Whether engaging with colleagues, meeting new people, traveling, or participating in multicultural communities, even basic Spanish can become a valuable skill that makes a lasting impact.

A Free Class for Rotarians and Their Spouses

The Basic Spanish Class is absolutely free for Rotarians and their spouses.

The program is designed to accommodate participants with busy schedules while still providing opportunities for personal interaction and learning.

Hybrid Learning Format

The program will follow a hybrid format:

• First Class: The introductory session will be conducted face-to-face or in person.
• Regular Classes: The succeeding lessons will be conducted online via Zoom.
• Graduation Day: The final session and graduation will be held face-to-face or in person.

This format allows participants to benefit from in-person interaction while making the regular lessons more accessible and convenient through online learning.

Certificate of Completion

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion from the program.

This recognition reflects their commitment to learning basic Spanish in preparation for their upcoming Barcelona experience.

Classes Begin in January 2027

The classes are scheduled to commence in January 2027. The final class schedule and time slots, as well as the physical venue for the face-to-face sessions, will be announced once they are finalized.
